Anyhoo, I’m just sitting here, starting m’day, getting things ready, going over my schedule of things that need to be done. Thank goodness it’s not a busy ballet day; just home stuff to do really: post office, vacuuming at the kid co-op, working out, and a bit of working from home, ordering m’braiding hair for my summer twists and finishing up some online summer shopping; oh, and cleaning my entire life. Marie Kondo style…but more on that later.
One thing that keeps me going, is staying healthy

Omg…I was OBSESSED with that movie. I seriously wanted to be a Surf Ninja…
or marry Ernie Reyes Jr. ^_^ good times.
Anyhoo…before I really get started on my busy day:
I HAVE to eat breakfast, it’s imperative.
And since I don’t really like “eating” in the morning…I have a vitamin packed smoothie.
Right now it consists of blueberry, spinach, and kale, with a bit of cranberry juice, water, and an alkaline superfood powder.
And I use it as a chaser (heh heh) for all my supplements…
All but 3 have been MD/ND prescribed; the others I threw in for my own health (after research and learning about my own body). And I can say, if I don’t have them for a week…I turn into a zombie (no gif, I don’t like zombies)
Here’s my current list: (I’ve linked all the brands I actually use)
Iron– I’m anemic
Magnesium Malate– I’m low in Mg and this is a good version
B12– for energy
D3-K2-for energy/and we don’t get enough sun here, taken w/butter
Prenatals or Regular– still trying to get m’energy back after the babies
Biotin gummies– longer, thicker hair and nails (don’t take too much or you’ll grow a beard!)
Chaste tree berry- low progesterone& I didn’t want to use hormonal cream
Omega3-good for overall health
Holy Basil– mood uplifter
Oil from Fermented Cod Livers-overall health, great for teeth (Cod liver oil)
Milk Thistle Seed– I’m gall-bladder-less, so this helps to keep my liver healthy
(I take that at night)
*I need to add a probiotic, we have this one, but it’s a little sweet.
Now these are all my supplements; our kids and my husband take different ones based on their needs.
I’ll put all of our healthy supplements in my market that I’m setting up here on the website. I’ve had some questions about the magical products I use to stay looking 21 😉 so I’m compiling them over there and I’ll announce it soon. ^_^
*Remember to talk to your healthcare professional before using supplements. I had 17 vials of blood drawn in order to tell me I needed to take these things. It’s good to see where you are first, in order to know where you need to go 😉
