Did you know that Princes are REAL?
Did you know that they walk among us, being lovely and chivalrous; kind, courageous, and good?
A little hard to believe?
Well it’s true! Princes are real!
“Um yeah…” you say “I mean HELLO, there are royal families all around the world.”
Well, I’m NOT talking about those kinds of Princes. I mean, I’m sure we all look back fondly on our teenage years when we all plotted planned how we would one day find and marry Prince William after dazzling him with our wit, beauty, charm and abundant grace… I know I’m not the only one.
It’s ok, I’m not mad; me and Catherine are total BFFs.
But I’m not talking about Prince William, or any other man of “royal blood” I’m talking about the Men who are Princes in spirit; Men who act nobly, Men who are kind, generous, and good.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, there are still good men of that ilk who live amongst us.
And let me introduce you to one such man:
His Serene Highness Prince Alexi Lubomirski.
..ok, so he does happen to be of “royal blood” but that’s beside the point. Look what he mom told him:
“If you are to be a prince in today’s world, you have to be a prince in your heart and in your actions.”
And it seems that this man took his mommy’s words to heart, and he has chiseled himself into a man of honor. And he’s written a book to help other men on their journey to Kingly manhood. And the special thing is: this book wasn’t written for
the public; he wrote the book for his sons, as a present. A family friend then later suggested he publish it so his words could reach more boys, turning them into men of valor.
I randomly saw this book online a few months ago and suggested that my library add it to it’s collection, and they did! 🙂 So I have it with me right now, and I have to tell you that it’s a lovely little book. Not exactly a coffee table book, but it’s something that you could keep out, that your Husband, Father, Son could keep on his desk and flip through whenever they want. It is an extremely quick read; each page has about one or two sentences of pertinent and profound advice.
I also really appreciated the illustrations on each page, which seemed to elegantly capture the meaning behind each piece of advice. The illustrations inspired me to really delve into the meanings that Alexi was trying to convey and those small simple illustrations helped me think while taking in his advice (almost like those medieval prayer labyrinths).
You know, they are labyrinths on church floors and in gardens
that you’re supposed to walk around, they help you meditate and focus

Prince Alexi didn’t know he was a Prince until he was 11 years old.
(Harry Potter-style…minus Hagrid)
Prince Alexi lives in New York City.
Prince Alexi’s mother is Peruvian/ English and his father is Polish/French father.
Prince Alexi is a model and famous fashion photographer.
And Prince Alexi has made an amazingly sweet father’s day gift, or gift for your son, or gift for your self, to see and understand that there are really good men left in the world. And I think this book can add to your own Prince’s personal repertoire of Princely knowledge.
**And all money earned from the book goes to Charity. Yes, very princely indeed.**
